2026 Toyota Tundra Custom Swing-Out Bumper Build for a Four Wheel Camper
This 2026 Toyota Tundra came into Stellar Built with a problem no off-the-shelf part could solve, nor could any other off-road shop solve: a Four Wheel Camper that hung out past the back of the bed, leaving no clean way to run a stock swing-out bumper or spare tire carrier.
Noel needed a rear bumper setup built specifically around his camper’s overhang, so we started with a C4 Fabrication Tundra Overland Series rear bumper and built custom dual swing-outs, one for the spare tire and one for accessories.

Custom Swing-Out Fabrication
Since there was no bolt-on swing-out solution that would clear Noel’s Four Wheel Camper, we built one from scratch.
Two custom swing-outs mount off the rear bumper, one carrying the spare tire and one for accessories, each running on a swing-out tire carrier hinge assembly with RIGD swing-out latches to keep everything locked down solid on the trail.
RIGd makes one of the best, if not the best, latches on the market. Dissent Off-Road also makes a killer latch, but it’s somewhat proprietary to Dissent products.
We reached out to RIGd and managed to pick up a couple of latches for this build. The end result is pretty epic.
C4 Fabrication Rear Bumper
We fabricated the mounting points for the swing-outs, the arms for the swing-outs, the cross braces for the swing-outs, and everything else that goes into a stout setup… finally, we finished with a Diode Dynamics flush-mount reverse light.
Accessories and Finish
The accessory swing-out carries fold-out tables, a dual jerry can holder, and a Hi-Lift mount, giving Noel a self-contained setup for camp cooking and recovery gear. Everything got powder-coated for a finish. Absolutely mint setup.
